Oro Valley / 01
Oro Valley's flat roofs are hitting recoat age all at once.
Most of Oro Valley was built between the early 1990s and the late 2000s, and the builders put the same roof on nearly all of it: stucco parapets around a flat or low-sloped deck, finished with a white coating. Those original coatings had a good run, but twenty summers of full sun at the foot of the Catalinas is about what they are rated for. By now a lot of them chalk when you rub them, show hairline cracks along the seams, and hold water in the low spots after a monsoon storm.
We are based off Ina and Thornydale, about fifteen minutes from most of Oro Valley, so inspections here are easy to schedule. The work is the same as everywhere else we go: pressure scrub, honest repairs, then two full coats of premium-grade acrylic in white or tan.
